One of the great things about Linux is that most of the software available
for it is free, both in the sense of price and also in the sense of freedom. On the left
you'll find links to software sites from which you can download or order
Linux software.
As you can see, the UCLALUG maintains a local mirror of various free software. If you would like to request that we mirror some particular software that we don't have already, please email us your request. You'll also note that we have available all kinds of software that our very own members have written themselves. Use Linux long enough, and you too will probably start writing free software to give back to the community. |
