opportunity located within our PhatNoise division for an Engineering
Summer Intern. In this dynamic position, you will function within a
highly talented specialized team environment. The ideal candidatewill
be eager, self-motivated and results driven with outstanding

The Candidate should be close to graduation or have recently graduated
with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent,
with experience in embedded systems. Candidate should have experience
with projects outside of class environment, including work experience or
hobby / group project (robotics, open source development, personal).
Job Description
Analyze and interpret external protocol and API specifications to
implement driver application to bridge external protocols with internal
API. Evaluate and assist with developing internal API.
Build command line application to demonstrate and test external protocol
communication, then integrate into main user interface application using
internal API. Reports to project manager,works individually and with
team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong C programming language skills
Strong Linux programming skills
Writing Makefiles to dynamic link 3rd party / external libraries Modify
and Build Linux Kernel
Desired Experience:
Cross-compile environments for ARM
Linux serial ports
USB drivers / applications
Lua language experience
SDL experience
Eclipse IDE experience
Term: 3 months, full time
Location: West Los Angeles
Start date: Immediately
