You may also want to review your mail reader as well.  I know that you, in
the course of practicing good netiquette, intended to delete the parts of the
text that had absolutely nothing to do with your reply so that you don't flood
everyone's mailbox with unrelated passages and cause undue quota trauma and
make it take forever to download a 2-line reply over modem, but it seems that
your mail reader didn't keep them deleted as you instructed.

Or perhaps your mail reader doesn't know how to delete?  If that's the case, I
highly suggest an alternate mail reader.  It gets to a be a bit of a drain when
the "meat" of your reply is less than 1% of your entire reply post, as has
happened at least four other times in the past.
