[UCLA-LUG] help for writing driver for intellimouse

hi friends,
          i am trying to write a new driver for ms-
intellimouse in caldera linux(kde).i would like to 
make the wheel work(scrolling) for netscape etc..
i could not get the protocol anywhere.will someone
send
me the protocol with explanation.i connect my mouse
in ps/2 compatible mouse port.whether xfree86 supports
it(with version details).please help me and send the
mail to gowtham16@yahoo.com since i could not get a 
membership in the mailing list due to some probs.
