can't remember what XFree version was bundled with Mandrake 6.0 dist.
May be you need to update your XFree.
BTW, the latest Mandrake is 7.0. You can download the iso image and create a
new cd.

believe that's the Weitek chipset used on Matrox Millenium product line and
I know those cards are supported on previous version of XFree86
