When booting from my LILO boot disk, it takes 4-5 minutes after hitting =
<enter> for Linux to begin loading. During this period, dots appear at =
an interval of about 40-50 seconds.

Is this normal? How can I speed up my LILO floppy boot disk time?

Thanks,
Santosh Kumar
