We will be offering Mandrake 7.0 and Red Hat 6.2. On our web page, we have
the Red Hat 6.0 kernel source RPMs available, specifically for CS 111
students. There are even instructions on how to install them. So I don't
think there should be a problem with using a modern Linux distro (meaning,
not Red Hat 6.0) at the install fest. But thanks for your concern. :)
