Hello Linux Users,
This Thursday at 7pm in Boelter 4760 I'll be giving the first of a two-part
talk on Linux: what it is and why you should use it. This talk will cover
the history of how Linux started, where it came from, and why it came about
at all. I'll also go over some basic Linux usage tips and tricks. Next week
will be the second part of the talk where I'll go into more details about
commands and how to do everything you do on a PC / Mac with linux. Fliers
are available in the LUG, Boelter 3820.
Mike N.
