Turns out MacOS 10.6 will connect directly to the UCLA Cisco VPN. Much nicer than having to use the add-on Cisco client.
To set up:
Open Networking Preferences
Click the plus to add a new connection, select “VPN”, select “Cisco IPSec”
Set Server Address to “vpn.ucla.edu”
Set Account Name to your BOL user name
Click Authentication Settings
Enter a Group Name of “UCLAIPSEC”
Enter the BOL Shared Secret (You'll be required to log into your BOL account to get it)
